Vancouver on Treepedia
As a postscript to my last post, I was recently reading about the cities of the world with the most trees. Thereโs a very cool-looking website put together by MIT called Treepedia where they are charting the green canopy of the cities of the world. It doesnโt look at parks, but focuses on vegetation in streets. Look how green Vancouver is! It led me to read more about the city, where they have set a goal of ensuring that every person lives within a 5 minute walk of a park, greenway, or other green space by 2020. I LOVE it.
